About the role:
In a team environment, perform assembly of a variety of medical products. Provide training to and maintenance of training to Product Builders.
Your responsibilities include:
* Under direction of Production Supervisor.
* May be responsible for a variety of tasks established by builder II material handling processes.
* Perform assembly of medical devices as assigned. Perform all aspects of assembly learned through on-the-job training.
* Understand and follow all BSC and GMP procedures required to assemble product to specification. Prepare all necessary documentation, check drawing specification, complete log sheets and maintain clean working area, print and inspect labels (if applicable).
* Train others through on-the-job training. Accountable for trainees quality of work (NCMR, Scrap, etc.) until trainee is signed-off in TRS.
* Under the direction of Operations Training.
* Obtain knowledge and demonstrate adherence to all Corporate and Site training procedures.
* Monitor OJTs for accountability to training of others.
* Maintain accurate training records in TRS.
* Maintain training matrix for assigned production line and execute cross training strategies defined by Production Supervisor.
* Develop in-depth process and system knowledge for the production line for training and training effectiveness of Defect Awareness and Product Use.
* Perform document distribution to the production line and applicable audits of document locations.
* Perform change request initiations and approvals as required.
* Provide ongoing feedback to both product builders and supervisors regarding all aspects of training.
* Must comply with all regulatory requirements and ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.
* Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

Basic Qualifications:
* Read and write English in order to complete paperwork and understand written procedures, specifications, GMPs and quality requirements
* Good communications skills
* Work to continuously improve product quality and process flow
* Must be adaptable to changing procedures; ability to learn new procedures due to changing products and technology. May be asked to cross train on a variety of department operations.
* Ability to work as a member of a team.
* High School or equivalent
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Demonstrated product building and process knowledge
* Demonstrated understanding and ability to maintain lean systems
PREFERRED Qualifications:
* Enrolled in PB Development Course
* PB II previously
* No written corrective actions for minimum 12 months
