We are actively seeking an energetic and innovative UX Architecture to join our group. BNY Mellon is embarking on a transformation into the user experience by incorporating strong Product and Design discipline into the work and services we create.

Experience Architects are curious problem solvers with a persistent desire to understand the user experience from start to finish. They work closely with our Experience Designers to provide them the info needed to create beautiful, functional digital experiences. They Design a product platform with UIs, APIs, services, and data-driven insights that deliver unique experiences across the client journey. Design a product architecture that reduces time-to-market for new features, simplifies internal/external dependencies, and scales to a global standard.

UX Center of Excellence (UX CoE) is part of BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Our goal is to improve the User Experience for advisors and customers, ushering in the future tools of Wealth Management. Adapting the Lean UX principles, we work closely with teams to shorten the feedback loop and learn from every iteration.

Sr. Specialist User Experience Analyst->> Performs and provides guidance and technical expertise for the most complex user experience activities that include user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design. Performs and leads user research, usability testing, surveys, interviews, work studies, and heuristic evaluations. Reviews documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams. Reviews new and modified user personals. Actively participate and may provide guidance in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to meet project schedules. Leads the implementation of visual styles that support platform branding to increase user effectiveness. Interprets user feedback and insights to improve the user experience. Serves as reviewer of usability activities and artifacts to ensure software applications meet customer expectations for use. Provides UX expertise to the product definition and evaluation process utilizing multiple sources of information (field work, interviews, internet, intranet, market data/literature). Independently performs and leads the creation and updating of user interface and visual design guidelines and standards. Advocates the user experience across the firm and facilities training for groups outside the UX team. Ensures that the developed/revised product achieves the user's specified goals by establishing user-centered analysis, design, best practices, and standards. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.

Qualifications

* Minimum (5) years of experience required

* Expert user of Sketch, InVision, Axure RP, Jira, Usability Testing, Qual and Quant Research
t
* Architect for mobile devices (native and web mobile applications) iOS and Android
t
* Responsive Design for web applications
t
* Experience hands-on research, wireframing and prototyping at an interactive agency
tor design studio.
t
* Demonstrated ability to work and manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
t
* Knowledge of ADA compliance is a plus
t
* Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus

Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred, 8-10 years of experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
