Job Description

The incumbent manages the day to day banking relationship for an assigned portfolio of private banking clients. Many of the assigned clients could be high profile investment clients as well as clients of the Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). Responsibilities include client inquires/requests;; verifying client documentation;; coordinating KYC/AML processes and procedures for client portfolio;; coordinating communication with the client;; executing and managing any projects relative to client portfolios. Coordinates banking services with investment service and Pershing Advisory Solutions for shared clients. Incumbent responsible for assisting Private Bankers in managing and recording/tracking day-to-day activities and programs. Assist banker with completing marketable secured loan requests through the FAST system and completing loan advances. Substantial independence in day to day management of, and decision making on, client matters and opportunities in support of requests received from the RIA, end client and the Private banker. The incumbent will work closely with the Private Banking teams, the RIAs, Pershing Client Services liaison in addition to the end client. The incumbent must address a variety of client-initiated concerns/questions on a recurring basis. Ability to handle difficult client situations is critical in developing new business opportunities with client, as well as existing business. Must be able to handle multiple issues and meet short deadlines. Capable of managing assigned clients and tasks with minimal direction and be a point of contact with the client for all client data gathering information. Also, meet the servicing requirements of the Private Banking clients which include, but are not limited to, identifying and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The incumbent will interact with internal/external clients both verbally and via written communication. The incumbent must demonstrate sensitivity to the client's concerns and project a professional image when dealing with the client. The incumbent must be able to effectively interact with professionals at all levels (both internally and externally) in order to provide responses to inquiries received and to ensure that the business unit accurately interprets and complies with instructions provided. Ability to make decisions and take actions independently within the policies and procedures of the corporation.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have 3-5 years client service experience with banking products (including deposit, loan processing, and brokerage products). BA/BS degree preferred. Knowledge of bank lending and credit policies and procedures. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
