The incumbent helps manage the day-to-day banking relationships of clients and the onboarding of new clients for a team of private bankers in a region, from time to time backing up other regions. This job requires a great deal of sensitivity, combined with discipline and strong knowledge of rules and protocols. The majority of the assigned clients are high profile investment clients; responsibilities include answering client inquires/requests; verifying client documentation; facilitating new account openings modifications and loan requests through the PBCG; coordinating processes and procedures for new and existing clients including new deals; executing and managing any projects relative to the business; preparing bankers for sales calls and sale initiatives; audit responses, bookkeeping, expense reports, and travel booking, among other business administrative needs. Incumbent helps to facilitate and improve communication by and among the client, Bankers, Wealth Managers, Wealth Directors, management, and the PBCG. Responsible for assisting Private Bankers in managing and recording/tracking day-to-day sales activities and programs; initiating marketable secured loan requests through the FAST system and updating the Relationship Management electronic system: Engage. The incumbent provides focus, strong consistency and continuity in operational and compliance processes and effective, consistent client sales service coverage. Responsibilities include tracking of sales activities, implementation of new compliance and operations procedures/programs, management of sensitive client issues, participation in the management of projects impacting client service delivery, liaison with other sales groups in Private Wealth and the Corporation on banking, compliance and client service matters. Substantial independence in day-to-day management of, and decision making on, client matters and opportunities.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of bank lending and credit policies, protocols and procedures. Strong Microsoft Office and internal Bank systems skills required. Manage pipeline and other business management reports for the Regional Director. Sales oriented, with strong discipline and administrative skills. The qualified candidate should have 5+ years client service experience with banking products (including deposit, loan processing and brokerage products). Working knowledge of banking products and services. Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, senior managers and peers. BS/BA preferred.
