Location Profile

This position will be located in the Gardena, CA supporting our Fluid Fittings Group.

Position Summary

Support the organizations Supply Chain Operations by coordinating the movement of raw materials, work inprocess goods, or completed merchandise to ensure that production needs and/or customer expectations are met.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

* Administer Strategies meant to optimize organizational business objective. Strongly supporting On Time Delivery and Revenue Forecasts.
* Responsible for Revenue Plan as based on Backlog and forecast firming within 8 weeks Should be able to predict revenue / predict expected past dues, predict Past Due burn down Ownership of OTD
* Collect Data and prepare analysis forecasting demand or predicting inventory needs.
* Collaborate with procurement and submit orders or requisitions that support your revenue forecast /Master Schedule to ensure an accurate supply of continuous goods.
* Respond Daily to system execution messages and ensure changes are made to work orders/purchase orders to drive the system to the Master Schedule ensuring objectives are met. This includes, but not limited to, releasing shop orders and cross functional collaboration daily.
* Collaborate with leadership on identifying and implementing efficiency or performance improvements.
* Develop and initiate detailed schedules to support manufacture of standard parts or assemblies in product code. Verify predetermined methods or routing data, prepare or release optimum quantities for fabrication runs, screen parts for multiple usage to avoid schedule problems or to insure a steady flow of materials. Recalculate loads on departments or adjust master or detail schedules according to engineering or methods changes, new releases, priority upgrades, rework dispositions, part or assembly shortages, or supporting supply problems. Maintain product status data to compare or monitor schedule estimates with production capability or materials support.
* Prepare daily Reports/ Weekly KPI reports. Involvement in development of key KPI reports

Experience & Education

* Bachelors degree preferred
* Aerospace machining and secondary processing experience
* Experience in high volume manufacturing environment
* Lean manufacturing experience or background
* Microsoft excel programming or other computer programming skills
* ERP system reporting and analytical capabilities
* APICS course work or CPIM preferred
* 7+ Years Planning/ Master Scheduling Experience

Required Skills

* Knowledgeable with Supply Chain metrics and MRP systems
* Handle Complex issues and perform with a high degree of latitude.
* Ability to implement Lean Strategy for JIT components reducing inventory
* Possess expert knowledge of subject matter.
* Ability to provide coaching and/or mentorship to subordinate groups.
* May sometimes act as a team lead or first level supervisor.
* High visible energy, sense of urgency, and ownership
* Advanced Excel Skills able to create Macros and cross functional spread sheets
* Effective communication skills to teams and upper management
* Power Query and Sequel Software
* Must thrive in dynamic environment
* Must possess analytical thinking skills
* Must possess problem solving skills
