Position Summary
The Manager of Operations Accounting works with Management and plant personnel to improve visibility into operational performance through review, analysis, engagement with the operations and improving utilization of the PCC toolkit.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform and manage cost accounting function that helps drive profit and working capital improvements.
* Refines and maintains the integrity of the plants standard cost system.
* Review and analyze operational performance.
* Manage the financial reporting process including:
* Weekly P&Ls
* Staff meeting financials
* Month, quarter and yearend reporting
* Period to period financial bridge
* Manage Financial Analyst and SOX Coordinator Positions
* Special Assignments as required by management.
* Communicate with coworkers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
* Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
* Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
* Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance plus ten years of related accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
* Must be comfortable with communicating up and down the organization on operational finance and accounting issues, especially with plant personnel
* Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently

* Must be detail oriented
