About the Role:
The Professional Information Business Engineering Team is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager based in its Princeton location, who will lead the design, development, integration, support and maintenance of multiple Risk and Compliance applications; ensure that they follow established policies, procedures and guidelines; monitor systems performance; manage system capacity and provide management of engineering staff.
You Will:
* Lead technical discussions and drive technical decisions covering your responsibilities
* Manage and mentor an experienced, accomplished team of Software Engineers
* Understand and practice agile software development and management
* Partner with stakeholders to manage scope and deliverables
* Design, develop and support, ReSTful APIs, and database components following our SDLC best
* practices and guidelines.
* Build and execute rigorous load, stress and performance tests before deploying software
* Lead recruiting efforts for the team
You Have:
* 5+ years of design, development, and deployment of application software
* 3+ years of team management experience; managing across diverse geographic regions a plus
* 3+ years working in Java
* Skills and proficiency in the development of full-stack applications
* Experience with Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, NodeJS and Spring framework
* Experience designing and deploying applications in a cloud-based environment; AWS experience a
* plus
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as mySQL, DynamoDB
* Expert knowledge of XML and JSON
* Experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery of applications
* Experience building and deploying microservices
* Familiarity with Test Automation
* Experience managing application performance metrics
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
