This Test Engineer will be badged to Orlando Systems Integration and Test Engineering but live and work in Troy Al. This person will Integrate test equipment for system level and sub-assembly tests in Troy Alabama. The selected candidate with collaborate with program Test Engineers, Electrical Engineers and System Engineers in Orlando. This person will evaluate test requirements for testability and recommend changes to engineering based on their evidence as gathered in Troy and provide input to equipment designs in the concept phases. They will comply with Orlando command media practices for test equipment development and sustainment. Tasks will involve working with Orlando personnel from infancy through, procurement, fabrication, test software development, integration and validation into a production environment. Tasks will include creating and revising test procedures, calibration procedures and test software documentation and will be asked to support existing production test equipment already operating in a production factory environment. Candidate should have a test software development background in Test Stand, CVI, and LabVIEW. C++ experience is desired but not required. Expect occasional travel to Orlando Fl as required for knowledge transfers and training.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience designing test software using NI LabVIEW/TestStand CVI or C+ from test requirements for acceptance testing by test operators.
- Demonstrated experience working in a lab and factory environment
-Demonstrated experience with Test Equipment and Test Methodologies.
-Ability to read and write specifications, statements of work and guide team through TE design process.
-Ability to design in collaboration with internal and external manufacturing and support functions.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
- Experience in oral and written communication to present to Management
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
-Prior technical lead experience
