-Leads the multi-shift Production Operations for assigned areas of the factory
-Interface with peers across functions and programs to achieve business goals.
-Requires excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure, and delivers information in a clear and concise manner.
-Responsible for creating a Culture of Accountability and demonstrating the Full Spectrum Leadership and cultural imperatives on a daily basis.
-Ensure a safe work environment through collaboration with ESH, communication of safety policy, accident investigation and through corrective actions.
-Ensures production team adherence to company, business, program and site policies, procedures and defined processes.
-Accountable for shop performance to targets in Cost, Quality, Schedule, 6S and Continuous Improvement
-Reinforce a culture that values and embraces foreign object damage prevention.
-Ensures tooling, workplace layouts and staffing are aligned to meet capacity needs
-Coordinates employee recruitment, training, performance, and work assignments.
-Accountable for associated Operations Excellence Team performance.
-Take corrective and preventive actions on non-conformances
-Mentor and develop production leaders
-Support the shop business rhythms
-Position may require an irregular schedule and overtime.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-A working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning, Resource and Capacity Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management and Shop Floor metrics.
-Creative and innovative problem solver with proven ability to formulate business. recommendations and implementable solutions to large-scale, complex issues.
-Consistent record of high performance, with the ability to accept responsibility, exercise authority and be held accountable for assigned tasks.
-Previous manufacturing supervisory or manager experience.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software.
-The candidate shall possess and have demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership qualities.
-Demonstrated skills with lean manufacturing techniques.
-Manufacturing Green Belt certified.
-Proficient SAP, Solumina, Autotime
-Candidate must be able to obtain an interim DoD secret security clearance prior to starting this position.
