You will be responsible for working on the design and development of the Electrical Power subsystem (EPS) as well as the Command Data Handling (C&DH) subsystem for spacecraft programs.
You will work along with subject matter experts to develop an efficient and affordable design and will work across the program to determine power needs and C&DH needs to design a regulated and controlled subsystem that will meet both bus and payload requirements by providing a multi-voltage regulated power system.
AS A MEMBER OF THE A2100 Center of Excellence (CoE) TEAM, YOU WILL:
Assist in the design, development, manufacturing and test of power and C&DH hardware.
Ensure a balance in execution between technical requirements, program cost and delivery schedule.
Responsible for developing and maintaining procurement specifications and interface control documents.
Responsible for integration, test and verification events to support system level requirements.
Provide periodic status to senior management.
Establishing board and box level requirements.
Board or box test requirements.
Schematic generation and capture.
Printed wiring board layout oversight.
Parts selection.
Parts stress analysis.
Board worst case analysis.
Board and box test development.
WE NEED:
At least an undergraduate degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
9 - 15 years of professional experience for this role.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance to the TS/SCI level.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience with hardware design, analysis and/or troubleshooting of spacecraft electronics.
Experience designing high-reliability electronics.
Previous or current Product Engineer or equivalent experience.
Willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Previous or current Certified Product Engineer (CPE) or equivalent experience.
PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tool experience.
Excellent presentation, oral and written skills.
Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Familiarity with failure investigation processes (fishbone analyses, etc.).
EMI/EMC design experience.
Ability to understand electrical circuits, interfaces, and interconnect diagrams.
Familiarity with Spacecraft Bus Subsystems such as: Avionics, Power, GN&C, Thermal, RF Communications, Data Handling and Management, Telemetry and Commanding, Flight Harnessing, and Flight Software.
Technical experience in full life cycle development of hardware including design, integration, and test.
Ability to produce and present informal status briefings to Program Management and Customer.
Experienced with working in geographically diverse teams and interfacing with industry partners/subcontractors.
