Job Description
As a part of our continued growth we are looking for dedicated and passionate Warehouse Worker/Inventory Clerk with Forklift experience.
Essential Job Duties:
* Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment
* Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments and record indirect time in a timely manner
* Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all LKQ policies, customer requirements and federal/state/local regulations
* Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
* Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, items brands, and lot codes (as applicable) damages and follow any special instructions on Work Assignment Form and /or additional documentation
* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
* Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
* Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines
* Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers always.
* Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
* Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory including stock and stock locations.
* Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital.
* Ensure incoming product is received and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
* Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: Can be flexible based on candidates need.
Pay: $14.50-$15hr based on experience/shift. Benefits after 30 days.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
* High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired.
* Up to six months of warehouse related experience, supplemented by on-the-job training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, work methods, to become familiar with the company's products, locations, machines and equipment, operating methods, and to attain proficiency requirements and to fully assume responsibilities of the job.
* Forklift certification beneficial.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* General knowledge and ability to perform relatively simple work using basic arithmetic.
* Must be able to recognize bin numbered locations.
* Must be familiar with the company's products and warehouse methods, techniques and procedures. Must be able to work in cooperation with others.
* Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
* Should possess special skills in the operation of a forklift in negotiating the lift in close quarters.
Machines, Equipment, and Software:
* Forklift, order selector, pallet jack, pull cart, ladder, Computer terminal, Microsoft Access Software, and telephone.
* Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
* This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet except when operating machinery.
* Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.
* They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
* They must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
* Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels.
* The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.
* The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
* Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.

• S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
