To excel in this position, you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and be very organized in tasks. Essential Job Duties:
* Perform all tasks included in the final assembly of the radiator core.
* Maintain quality controls through entire production process
* Ensures that the company's design standards are achieved with the final product
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines
* Maintains orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas
* Complies with established company policies and procedures
* Assumes other duties as assigned
Requirements
Job Requirements:
* High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired
* No technical experience required, although prior shop experience may be beneficial
* Complete tasks in a timely manner
* Must be able to perform repetitive tasks / movements
* Must be able to read part specifications including translating numbers to measurements
* Prior knowledge of automobiles or mechanics preferred
* Willingness to be trained and learn company's products and procedures
* Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary tasks
* Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction
* Must possess a safety conscious mindset

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The job setting is inside a shop area with concrete floors and sometimes wet environment. The employee should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels, and occasional inclement driving conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in some work environments is moderately loud. This position requires frequent bending, climbing, moving, and lifting.

LKQ was initially formed in 1998 through the combination of a number of wholesale recycled products businesses located in Florida, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. We subsequently expanded through internal development and over 220 acquisitions of aftermarket, recycled, refurbished, and remanufactured product suppliers and manufacturers; self service retail businesses; and specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories suppliers. • 2014 acquisition of Keystone Specialty, which expanded our product offering and increased our addressable market to include specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories.
• On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
• S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
