HighPoint - Livingston Regional Hospital
Provides nursing leadership and coordinates patient care during assigned shifts. Management of staffing and supply and demand of beds. Is a representative of nursing and hospital administration and has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of CNO or Administrator on call.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
X Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Registered Nursing
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications: American Heart Assocation (AHA) Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - Required to be current upon start of position
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA - Required to be obtain within 6 months of start of position
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA - Required to be obtained within 6 months of start of position
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) -AHA-Required within 6 months of start of position
Required Licenses
Registered Nurses
Current Tennessee or compact state RN licensure required.
Minimum Work Experience
Experience as a charge nurse or nurse manager preferred. A minimum of three years nursing experience is required.

The HSC is organized to bring resources to bear across the continuum of care, from before a patient accesses healthcare services to after they are sent home, while keeping quality and compliance at the center.
On a daily basis, our group leaders and subject matter experts are working with our local markets to help develop and implement the right strategies that ensure healthcare thrives in their communities.
