Memorial Medical Center

The Medical Technologist performs clinical testing in at least two of the following areas: General Lab, Microbiology, Transfusion Services, and Processing/Tube Dispatch. In addition to obtaining specimens and performing clinical laboratory tests the Medical Technologist demonstrates leadership through student and team member instruction, independent problem solving and client service. The Medical Technologist provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree. Certification as Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist or as a Specialist in related field preferred.

Minimum Experience: None.

Certification/Licensure: Med Tech ASCP or equivalent or eligible preferred.
