St Francis Hospital
Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Nurse Technician, Unit Secretary, EKG Technician, and Monitor Technician. Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalentrequired
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certified NursingAssistant (CNA) required without completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)OR post-secondary nursing education program; OR currently enrolled in a Schoolof Nursing with completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing curriculum requiredto perform Nurse Technician duties
Minimum Work Experience
One (1) year of nursing assistanceexperience is preferred.
