Your Role and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain reliable, scalable, and efficient TM1 / Planning Analytics solutions by managing all phase of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, integration, training and documentation.
* Experience in design and implementation of Financial planning and reporting model in IBM Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1), IBM PAX, TM1 Web, TM1 Webshets.
* Ability to write complex business logic in TM1 Rules and Turbointegrator (TI).
* Experience in building reports in Planning Analytics workspace (PAW).
* Experience in writing MDX queries
* Should have functional knowledge and experience in understanding financial processes and terminologies.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and interact with business stakeholders.
* Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document business applications
* Familiar with industry best practices
* Performance tuning of TM1 / Planning Analytics application
* Experience working in Agile environment
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 5+ years experience developing IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) applications
* 2+ years development with Planning Analytics Workspace, Planning Analytics for Excel or CAFE, TM1 Websheets, TM1Web
* 3+ years working with SQL, OLAP and data warehouse technologies
* Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or comparable major.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Cognos TM1 certification is preferred but not required
* MBA is a plus
* Experience in developing applications in python is a plus
* Experience with Excel Macros is a plus
* Experience in big data technologies such as spark, hadoop, map reduce, hive, airflow, kubernetes is a plus
