Job Responsibilities:

Lead a team of hourly employees and supervisors at the South Bend, IN, Machining and Assembly OEM and Repair & Overhaul site that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve production control, output and continuous improvements.

Additionally, you will drive the strategic direction and initiatives that ensures product is coordinated, monitored and completes the production cycle according to schedule. Facilitate process and policy changes.

Drive project management, drive cost improvement projects.

Lead Kaizen efforts and HOS

Oversee production schedule optimizing capacity needs and labor loading.

Collaborate with procurement, sourcing and engineering to drive innovative solutions to challenging issues.

Customer facing Honeywell lead for all customer (internal/external) interactions.

Build a strong team through development, coaching and performance management

YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business

5 yrs+ years of production or operations experience

Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status

Ability to work overtime as needed including nights, weekends and Holidays

WE VALUE

Familiar with standard concepts of Supply Chain Management

Degree of creativity and latitude.

Able to make decisions using data provided.

Advanced computer skills MS Suite and SAP

Extensive experience leading teams.

Experience with Union environments
