Job Description

The purpose of this position is to provide engineering and technical support for moderate to complex Biotech and Pharmaceutical project assignments and may be the primary interface with Fluor discipline engineers.

Apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices in all areas of assignments
Assist others on engineering problems and methods
Use advanced techniques, precepts and practices of the relevant field of process work
Represent Process Technology in meetings and conferences related to the execution of the Companys projects
Contribute to planning and coordinating work
May supervise others and/or be responsible for training of junior engineers/specialists
Other duties as assigned
Position located in San Francisco Bay Area (South San Francisco, Berkeley, Fremont, Foster City, Vacaville, other)

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located and be able to interview on site.

Basic Job Requirements

Accredited four (4) year degree in Chemical Engineering or global equivalent in engineering field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience in Engineering and Construction projects in the biotech and life sciences industries
Process Design Experience in Life Sciences
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
