A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
* Review and prepare work order packages for internal SCE and external contractor construction crews.
* Directly manage and maintain project status reports to ensure timely and accurate updates are made. This includes monitoring scheduled start dates, completion dates, major milestones, and other pertinent project information.
* Monitor annual purchase order values and submit requests to replenish funds, as necessary.
* Extract, compare, and analyze data from various internal source systems to identify reporting inconsistencies and address data gaps.
* Provide process improvement recommendations to the Regional Scheduling Supervisor (RSS) to ensure adherence to established timelines, compliance, and overall data accuracy.
* Act as a key resource to the Regional Planning and Performance Manager (RPPM) to assist in the development of high-level presentations presented to executive management.
* Conduct ad-hoc analysis within area of responsibility in support of on-going company operations or in response to changing business strategies.
Qualifications
The essentials
* Three or more years of experience working in an analytical position.
* Experience with Microsoft Excel.
The preferred
* Bachelors degree.
* Experience with SCE specific programs, such as Design Manager (DM), Click Schedule, and SAP.
* Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
* Customer focused with ability to understand and appropriately respond to project managers and clients business needs.
* Experience creating presentations using spreadsheets and PowerPoint tools to communicate data and analysis.
* Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and meeting assigned deadlines.
* Experience working across disciplines and effectively engaging various levels of internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
* Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
* Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
