In this job, youll support our Performance & Reporting group within Transmission Substations & Operations (TS&O). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is not afraid of inspiring change through complex analysis. This position will employ in-depth expertise of data analytics, database query writing, programming tools and visualization tools to lead, build and drive data analytics. This person will work closely with TS&O business partners and provide support to TS&O staffing, compliance and performance management. A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

* Lead data analytics projects and gather/analyze complex data.
* Develop scorecards, dashboards and data visualizations for TS&O staffing, compliance and performance management.
* Define and design analytical solutions for TS&O with knowledge of Power BI, SAS VA, SAP and other advanced technologies.
* Work with operational business partners to develop and craft scorecards/dashboards and data visualizations.
* Determine scope of analytical solutions by providing recommendations and solutions based on data driven analytics. Evaluates and negotiates scope and timelines with clients.
* Perform advanced data queries utilizing SAP, SQL, and Business Objects.
* Serve as subject matter authority in data analytics, tools and technologies and share knowledge within the department.
* Participate in cross functional teams and provide analytical recommendations, expertise, and feedback in support of organizational operations.

Qualifications
The essentials

* Five or more years experience performing Data Analytics functions such as extracting data and analyzing large datasets.
* Two or more years of experience utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel such as Sum-Ifs, V-Lookups, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
* Two or more years of experience writing Database Queries.
* Experience with Power BI or SAS VA or Tableau.

The preferred

* Bachelors degree.
* Visual Basic (VBA) programming experience.
* Experience with SAP, SQL, PowerApps, SharePoint development and Power Automate.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
