Become an Inventory Financial Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, youll be responsible for the implementation of Supply Management Inventory and Finance Strategies, specifically relating to Reliability, Inventory Affordability and Vendor Managed Inventory/Return On Sales (VMI) maximization. You will coordinate work within the team to identify, problem-solve and optimize issues in relation to inventory transactions. You will provide directional input and solutions for the team who are currently responsible for all aspects of inventory supply and optimization, re-designing business processes, development of new processes, and introducing advanced techniques. * Incorporate advanced predictive analytics to ensure demand discover and vendor manufacturing optimization, all while providing world class solutions to various OUs and senior leaders.
* Build strategic relationships and collaboration with internal/external senior and operational leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with SCE budgets, goals and objectives.
* Develop project plans and resolve issues independently when they arise and escalate as necessary. Anticipate potential issues and manages significant risks inherent with the current challenges and Inventory optimization.
* Develop and implement metrics to monitor area of responsibility, identifies gaps, and implements plans to remediate. Understand and assess the strategic landscape of Supply Management and how it impacts the area of finance and importance of managing to the financial deliverables, constraints, and activities and perform duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
The essentials
* Seven years of experience managing/influencing logistics projects, contracts, or programs with an emphasis in inventory control.
* Experience re-engineering business processes.
The preferred
* Degree in business, economics, or related field.
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively, including Process optimization and change management experience.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including oral presentations, networking at the highest levels and group facilitation and negotiations with both internal and external clients.
* Experience tailoring communication to meet audience needs and achieve unexpected outcomes.
* Ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
* Strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
