DISH's Manufacturing team is seeking a Business Operations Analyst in Englewood, CO to analyze and forecast equipment returns and exchanges for Satellite TV receivers to DISH's manufacturing sites as part of the supply chain process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Maintain and improve supply chain forecasting models that predict the forward/reverse logistics activities of DISH's products
* Work directly with Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Distribution teams to develop reports that track data and metrics
* Understand high-level business operations and dependencies and gauge impacts of upstream inputs on reverse logistics, remanufacturing volumes and operations activities
* Assist with ad-hoc projects aimed at driving cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency
* Participate in budget cycles by providing long-term forecasts and by researching and explaining metric variances
* Provide reports and updates to high level executives in corporate meetings and to partners at Manufacturing/Distribution sites
* Proactively communicate with teams in the department and with partners in external departments to facilitate smooth business operations

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
* 1-3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

SKILLS

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including high level formulas and linking of files - Excel, Word and Outlook and PowerPoint applications
* Strong analytical and modeling skills
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely to executives
* Prior experience in Supply Chain is a plus
* SQL/R experience preferred
* Tableau experience preferred
