Job Description
Job Accountabilities
Direct Supervisor of Skilled Labor.
Champion for continuous operations maintenance activity.
Leader of technical projects and machine maintenance.
Approve / generate and distribute necessary maintenance work orders and work order requests.
Coordinate with Plant Superintendent to ensure line efficiency performance.
Assist in the coordination and implementation of Process Improvement projects.
Schedule and implement necessary training for all Maintenance Personnel.
Work with contractors to complete outside services on equipment and facilities.
Train and assure outside contractor adherence to company / plant safety protocols.
Develop, coordinate and implement PM&R programs as well as any Special Maintenance Projects.
Review and implement ongoing Maintenance Staffing needs and changes.
Utilize E-Maintenance to track parts
Work with buyer and vendors to ensure service contracts are managed effectively.
Perform facility audits, schedule work to keep up facility and grounds
Submit Monthly situation Report to Plant Manager.
Job Requirements
Requirements include:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Five+ years experience in a high speed manufacturing environment
Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
Travel
