Join our team as an IP Manager for Global utilities and GTC!
This position leads strategic negotiations and provide support/guidance for the Divisions sourcing activities of Utilities and Energy, aligned with global strategies. Be the Procurement support for the Global Technology Center.
Responsibilities:
* Follow the Global Procurement governance in all projects, CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) approvals, eSourcing tools, Supplier Code of Conduct sign off, etc.
* Maintain close contact and develop strong partnerships with category stakeholders. Follow Stakeholder engagement best practices to better understand the business needs and align on resources and priorities.
* Engage senior leaders when there is a need to escalate any issues.
* Develop and implement any related process improvement in the category.
* Participate in Industry events to bring new ideas to the organization.
* Be an active participant in the Commodities Fearless forecast meetings with key energy/electricity commodities trends and insights.
* Be a key contributor to the companys renewable energy initiatives and goals.
* Manage ethical and professional relationships with vendors.
* Support global and regional initiatives identified in the annual goal alignment.
* Support procurement risk assessment and risk mitigation plans.
* Quickly support spot requests from the Divisional or Global organizations.
* Keep a proactive and dynamic attitude.
* Take leadership on key initiatives.
* Achieve or exceed the savings and simplification goals.
* Actively support the Global Procurement Digital Transformation.
* Lead or support the annual benchmarking exercise with similar companies to Colgate and internally with the Divisions. Do spend deep dive in the assigned categories/country/hub.
* Apply spend analytics best practices, and do frequent deep dives in the assigned categories/country/hub.
* Update annual Supplier Segmentation in the category.
* Lead and track the effective contract execution and management in the assigned categories.
* Lead and standardize e-Sourcing processes, create appropriate templates to facilitate this process.
* Support Procurement Cluster Manager and Procurement Portfolio Managers by providing timely and accurate assistance on relevant topics and initiatives as required.
* Support Tactical and Strategic sourcing initiatives as required.
* Support all IP transformational initiatives as required; digital procurement, e-invoicing, p-cards, improvement with supplier payments, etc.
* Directly lead/manage procurement projects as needed.
* Track users Procurement compliance and escalate as necessary.
* Approve shopping carts on eBuy for the categories/country/hub, expedite emergency orders when necessary.
* Maintenance of eBuy Procurement tools, ie. ebuy contracts, outline agreements, catalogs, etc.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business field.
* At least 8 years of experience in Supply Chain related field.
* At least 5 years of Indirect Procurement experience, preferable in energy and utilities.
* Project management skills.
* Previous experience leading global regional projects or initiatives with crossfunctional teams.
