As the Seasonal Construction Inspector, you will direct, monitor, and inspect contractor construction activities and complete related documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements and construction agreements.
Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:
Attend construction meetings with government representatives (city, county, state) to obtain and provide construction project updates, and relay the information to the crews and management.
Provide accurate and complete field construction documentation including a detailed list of materials used on the job and ensure timely processing of related records to maintain the integrity and accuracy of company record systems.
Review and prepares daily progress reports for compliance with applicable contracts and agreements.
Respond to customer inquiries for construction or conversion information, provides customers with project status updates and post installation troubleshooting to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the service delivery process.
Update distribution system maps and performs various construction related and non-construction related activities as assigned to support the service delivery process during the non-construction season.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Requires one year of construction or utility operations/natural gas distribution system experience (one full construction season equivalent to one year).
Preferred Experience, Education and Skills:
Education or training specific to natural gas distribution system installation.
