As the Material Specialist Helper, you will perform tasks related to warehouse and inventory - receiving, shipping, picking orders, delivering material, counting inventory while using various types of material handling equipment.

Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:

* Unload and receive goods delivered both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
* Checks for damaged goods and order accuracy.
* Label material and puts away in corresponding shelf location.
* Pull and kit job material utilizing bar code reader to complete transaction.
* Load and deliver material to various locations within territory.
* Counts inventory daily; reporting and researching variances.
* Enters various types of inventory transactions on bar code reader or personal computer.
* Able to navigate in materials management software to provide accurate information.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

* Requires a High School Diploma
* Successful candidate must have basic math and computer skills
* Must be able to acquire and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License with no restrictions within 60 days of hire.
* Must be able to operate a forklift (certification required) and various power and hand tools; walk, stand, bend and stoop continuously throughout the workday.
* Must be able to acquire OSHA crane operation certification. Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external clients.
* Available to work overtime, including scheduled and emergency, as needed.

Preferred:

* Microsoft Office or comparable
* Experience in shipping and receiving, and/or material handling

Physical Requirements

* Able to communicate orally in a clear manner.
* Able to frequently exert a minimal amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise objects usually weighing up to 75 pounds.
* Able to operate a motor vehicle, including ability to enter and exit the vehicle unassisted.
* Able to support and participate in Emergency Operating Plan (EOP), which involves long workdays and may include challenging field conditions. May be required to remain in the service area during emergency events and assume responsibilities assigned by the company to aide in restoration efforts.

Working Conditions:

* Able to work indoors, in an office environment and warehouse environment.
* Able to work outdoors, dusty and dirty conditions, in and out of a vehicle, with some exposure to all weather conditions.
* Able to work in unpleasant locations such as in high crime areas.
* Able to work overtime (scheduled and/or unscheduled, nights and/or weekends) as needed or required.
* Able to provide on-call support (includes after-hours, weekends, holidays) on a rotational basis.

This position will be located at the Wagner Complex in Evansville, IN.
