The Associate Director for Intercontinental Performance and Insights is an experienced analytics professional who will be responsible for cross-market analytics and capabilities development for the Intercontinental region. They will work closely with the Intercon Lead to support regional commercial leaders through cross-market/cross-portfolio performance analytics, contextualizing market event dynamics, and harmonizing performance across markets. They will be responsible for pulling through the analytic capability roadmap and partnering closely with in-market analytics teams on innovative initiatives. They will also have matrix responsibility for sharing relevant therapeutic area information with the in-market teams, Major Markets colleagues, and the Modelling & Capabilities Lead.

Key Responsibilities and Major Duties

* Drives monthly business performance diagnosis and growth opportunity assessment across Intercon region
* Program management of Intercon analytics capability roadmap including planning, design, deployment, and on-going adjustments
* Leads brand-centric virtual communities and coordinates with other IMIC team members
* Facilitates the sharing of therapeutic area insights across Intercon and WW stakeholders
* Provides analytical support during various touchpoints of annual budget planning cycle
* Executes ad-hoc analytical requests to support regional and in-market leadership
* Collaborates with Modeling & Capabilities Lead on forecasting model development and deployment

List of minimum requirements

* Degree/Certification/ Licensure
* BA/BS required
* MBA or Masters in a quantitative major or concentration preferred

Experience Responsibility and minimum number of years

* 5+ years of pharmaceutical/related market experience, including working knowledge of various analytical capabilities
* Ability to leverage large, multi-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions
* Ability to synthesize complex information sets & successfully communicate to the senior leaders leading to smart & data-driven decision making
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues and present to business stakeholders
* Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare marketplace dynamics preferred
* Proficiency and familiarity with analytics/data tools such as SAS, Access, Spotfire, Tableau, etc.
