Job Description
Source Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Support studies of combined and joint military operations conducted across the spectrum of war to include capability gap analyses, course of action analysis, operational planning, time-phased force deployment data, feasibility assessments, and operational risk assessments. Interpret, synthesize, and present results and recommendations to senior military and civilian decision makers. Apply broad understanding of military command and control and force structure at the unified and specified levels to the joint planning process and mission analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
-15+ years of experience in operations planning, military operations, or risk assessments
-Experience with planning and executing combined and joint operations at the theater or component level
-Experience with the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC)
-Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
-Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
-Knowledge of DoD
-Knowledge of combat arms, all source intelligence analysis, and logistics
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with a military headquarters staff, including Service HQ, OSD, Joint Staff, or COCOM
-Experience with Combat Support Agencies (CSA)
-Experience as prior military
-Experience with leading interdisciplinary study teams conducting studies of a scope and nature expected of a theater-level command
-Experience with Combat Support Agency Review Team (CSART) process
-MA or MS degree
