The Challenge:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the DoD to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. Thats why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network Army needs.

As a network engineer on our team, youll work to design and maintain a reliable network to support an Army system that is deployed in classified and unclassified environments. Youll collaborate with highly skilled systems engineers, software developers, and cybersecurity experts to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. Youll then share your expertise during the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, youll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to share your experience with software developers, trainers, soldiers, systems and network engineers while broadening your network engineering work. Join us as we help the Army and our client maintain its existing capability that is deployed across 22 countries, while also assisting to investigate new techniques and emerging technologies that are industry-trending and affordable for future Army procurements.

You Have:

* 5+ years of experience with a wide range of network administration, network security, and network monitoring solutions, including those from leading vendors such as Cisco and Juniper
* 5+ years of experience with system or network administration of Windows Server and Linux (RHEL)
* 2+ years of experience with network or system administration for DoD systems
* 2+ years of experience with analyzing vulnerability and security risk assessment tool results, including DoD ACAS, SCAP or Nessus
* Active Secret clearance
* BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

* Experience with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
* Experience with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security controls
* CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, CCNA, or CISSP Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
