Job Description
Senior Deputy Program Manager
Key Role:
Work as the senior deputy program manager for the Veterans Administration's (VA) Benefits Integrated Delivery program. Maintain responsibility for facilitating and coordinating day-to-day activities with the program manager and 10+ pillar teams. Assist the Program Manager to meet programs goals, resource planning, monitoring, and reporting progress. Identify, remediate, and escalate operational challenges, gaps, risks and issues, and improvement opportunities to business operations council and program leadership. Guide detailed problem-solving and design-related discussions to achieve the preferred future state.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with program management of large-scale projects in excess of $20M+
* Experience with presenting analytical findings to senior leadership
* Experience with information technology projects
* Experience in engaging with executive or senior level officials
* Ability to manage large teams of 100+ people
* BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Possession of excellent executive leadership skills
* MBA degree
