Emergency Communications Specialist, Consultant

Key Role:

Work as part of our Justice, Homeland Security, and Transportation team, providing public safety and emergency communications strategic communications support, policy analysis, and strategy implementation to support the client's federal, state, local, and tribal public safety emergency communications coordination mission. Design, develop, and produce on a variety of communications materials and media with a focus on public safety communications interoperability. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts.

Basic Qualifications:

-1 year of experience in a professional work environment

-Experience with stakeholder or client engagement or outreach

-Ability to use analytical and problem-solving expertise to provide deliverables in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with public safety, law enforcement, emergency communications, or emergency management

-Experience in working with federal, state, or local government clients

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
