Job Description

The Senior Copywriter role plays an integral role on a team of creative professionals including copywriters, designers, and producers. The position reports to the Copy Manager. We are seeking someone with strong creative talent and the desire to be part of a highly skilled in-house creative team.
key responsibilities
* Write effective, smart, arresting copy for email that clearly communicates marketing and business objectives.
* Manage multiple copywriters and collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers.
* Proofread creative assets as needed to ensure accurate use of grammar and product descriptions.
* Thoroughly understand and clearly convey the brand voice throughout all marketing materials with on-time delivery to the brief specifications.
* Collaborate with marketing team, merchandising team, and other stakeholders to obtain information and ensure all changes provided have been implemented.
* Work on multiple projects simultaneously, practicing effective communication with team members and managers at all times.
qualifications
* 5+ years of relevant professional experience and team management
* Bachelors degree or equivalent in Communications, Advertising, English, or related studies
* Examples of your writing
* Ability to work collaboratively with others with respect for their unique contributions
* Strong attention to detail; ability and willingness to proofread yours and others work thoroughly and effectively
* Preferred experience: retail industry, home design, decorating, creative agency and/or a start-up environment
* Preferred skills: Workfront, SmartSheets
