As a Data Science Engineer, you will be responsible for advance research and development of deep neural network algorithms for neuromorphic computing targeted towards AI applications. Your responsibilities will include optimizing, evaluating, and manipulating deep neural network models for software and hardware co-design. You will have the exciting opportunity to work with a high-performance SoC design team with skillsets spanning AI neural network development, logic design, physical design, verification, and silicon validation. You will process and analyze data collected from simulation and hardware to recommend design improvements. You will contribute to SoC architecture definition, firmware development for silicon validation, running deep neural network in simulation and hardware for benchmarking, and developing automations and efficient scripts for collecting and parsing data.
Preferred Qualification and Skills
* Experience in software development and data science
* Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) fields
* Proficiency with AI/ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Theano, ONNX)
* Proficiency with scripting, firmware, and software programming languages (Perl, Python, C/C++)
* Knowledge of deep neural network algorithms and design techniques (quantization, pruning)
* Knowledge of deep neural network training, inference, and optimization techniques
* Experience in compiler and firmware development is a plus
* Experience in embedded HW/SW development is a plus
* Experience in open-source library development is a plus
* Good understanding of parallel and distributed compute architectures is a plus
* Good understanding of GPU-accelerated library for deep neural networks (cuDNN) is a plus
* Experience in hardware testing, data collection/mining, and benchmarking is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
