Responsibilities:
1. Supports activities related to validation and serves as information resource. Provides expertise, guidance, and support to the organization. Serves as technical Subject Matter Expert in specific area of support which may include but not be limited to validation procedures and policy, calibration policy, equipment management, validation protocols and validation of equipment, processes and systems.
2. Typically researches and/or develops design elements, assay, process and method parameters.
3. Typically ensures all documentation pertaining to qualification and validation is maintained. Typically involved in equipment selection, specification, and negotiation of competitive pricing.
4. Improves organizational performance by assuring validation of all processes and equipment is performed in accordance with established protocols.
Qualifications:
Education:
4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Engineering, Quality Assurance-Systens Engineering, Science, statistics, or related degree)
Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 related years required
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential.

Humanity
The Red Cross, born of a desire to bring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavors—in its international and national capacity—to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace amongst all peoples.
Impartiality
It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It endeavors to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress.
Neutrality
In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Red Cross may not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.
Independence
The Red Cross is independent. The national societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with Red Cross principles.

The Red Cross is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain.
