Position Description
The Manager of Multicultural Marketing position will be a part of the Enterprise Marketing Team, responsible for driving our D&I messaging and executing on a variety of initiatives aimed at uniting Ally's past and prospective D&I efforts, helping to guide consistent impact both internally and externally across the communities we serve. This position reports to the Director of Multicultural Marketing and will lead Hispanic and D&I marketing initiatives through development, production and best in class execution. This role will assist the Director of Multicultural Marketing in educating stakeholders about multicultural audiences and best practices while ensuring meaningful, authentic connections are made across marketing channels.
Candidate must be able to work well with a variety of business partners, be detail-oriented, execute with excellence and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of national creative campaigns for Hispanic and multicultural segments.
* Ability to think strategically and execute against a strategic vision across a variety of marketing channels that amplify Ally's brand purpose.
* Ensure Ally's inclusive practices are amplified in our corporate narrative and story.
* Be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Hispanic and Multicultural marketing efforts.
* Has a deep understanding of the Hispanic consumer landscape.
* Act as key client representative for creative and media agencies as well as key publishing or sponsorship partners.
* A key member of the marketing cross-functional team who will exhibit a solid understanding of culture.
* Work with business partners across the enterprise including but not limited to Corporate Citizenship and Human Resources to lead marketing support based on corporate and business objectives.
* Collaborate with agency and business partners to use data to help inform priorities and measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
* Monitor and report on D&I topics and identify best practices across the industry.
* Drive key audience priorities by identifying and building scalable programs and partnerships accordingly.
* Manage budget including tracking monthly invoices, supplying accurate forecasting and establishing monthly accruals.
* Adheres to compliance approvals and processes for all marketing and advertising communications.
Qualifications
Experience
* 5+ years of experience in a role leading multicultural marketing and advertising efforts, with a focus on the Hispanic audience.
* Experience in experiential and content marketing is a plus.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Ability to read and understand media plans and identify assets required.
* Proficient in key social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
