The Opportunity

As an Analyst on the Project Change Delivery Team, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills, along with your Project Management experience to solve Deposit Operations challenges. This position will be responsible for partnering with multiple lines of business and technology to manage projects, implement process improvements and develop analytics that drive operational performance and efficiencies, cost savings and automation.

We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, and passional advocate for our team with demonstrated success in a team environment with experience in process improvement and project management. This individual must be able to effectively communicate business needs and translate those needs into requirements to that meet the business objective. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver in a dynamic, agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role.

The work Itself

* Provide subject matter expertise on assigned processes and regulations within Deposit Operations.
* Determine best practices and suggest how to improve current practices and processes; develop recommendations
* Coordinate the involvement of Ally stakeholders as necessary
* Apply analytical approach and professional knowledge to solve problems.
* Drive process improvements to achieve customer, business and shareholder goals.
* Manage small to medium scale projects across multiple lines of Business within Deposit Operations, interacting with business owners and development teams to deliver on time.
* Plan project timelines, resources and deliverables; Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
* Conduct thorough analyses, including coming up with your own hypotheses, testing, revising, and ultimately providing data-driven, evidenced recommendations.
* Conduct risk analysis and risk mitigation of assigned projects/tasks.
* Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

The Skills You Bring

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years previous work experience, preferably in a retail banking environment
* Knowledge of banking regulations preferred (i.e. Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, UCC, BSA)
* Project management experience (i.e. PMP, CAPM) knowledge/experience a plus
* Process management experience (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma, BPM) knowledge/experience a plus
* Experience managing projects across multiple groups including development teams
* High level of written and oral communication skills
* Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work flow
