Job Description
As an Automation Test Engineer, Senior Analyst at CVS Health in our Enterprise Analytics group, you will be testing components of the Underwriting Platform, a software application that serves financial users from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business unit. You will work on testing multiple components of the application, and your primary responsibility will be the Rules Repository: a PEGA-enabled database of assumptions and rules that govern the algorithms of the application.
Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers.
What you will be doing:
Participate in the full software development project lifecycle with emphasis on Quality Assurance activities in the proper implementation.
Support the development of comprehensive test strategies, plans, reports and environments for manual or automated testing for multiple IT projects in a release cycle.
Understand the complex software architecture and software design documents,
Implement the quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation.
Execute of test cases and validate results, meet deadlines and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution.
Generate test reports that communicate test results, concerns and project status with an emphasis on project risk, including defect rates to the product management team.

Required Qualifications
3+ Years relevant QA tools, processes and technology

Preferred Qualifications
Development experience in Automation using Selenium &UFT;
High degree of knowledge and hands on experience in SQL.
Quality assurance experience of finance applications is a must. Experience with insurance and pharmacy benefit management a plus.
Experience with PEGA workflows.
Continuous Integration environments (e.g., Jenkins)

Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field; or Advanced Degree
