There is an opportunity for a talented individual to join AIG Retirement Services as a Regional Vice President. The selected candidate would work to grow and develop assets in an area of the country that has a rich company history and strong upside potential. To be successful in this position, candidates must demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills in working with advisors, clients and the community. A successful candidate must also be a team player and embrace change.
What youll do as Regional Vice President:
* Oversee, coach and mentor a team of District Vice Presidents/Assistant District Vice Presidents who manage a team of Financial Advisors in the state of Florida.
* Lead and foster a culture that emphasizes ethical practices, customer focus and encourages the highest level of integrity.
* Lead the region in the effective recruitment, selection, and development of regional personnel consistent with the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
* Responsible for supervision to ensure the teams compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement strategic plans and financial goals for the region while focusing on customer experience, strengthening existing client relationships, and securing new clients.
* Responsible for managing monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans and budgets.

* Extensive knowledge of retirement plans including 403b and 401k plans.
* The ability to recruit, select, lead and coach managers, financial advisors and other regional personnel.
* The ability to build strong relationships with key internal staff including relationship managers, consultant relations and business development teams.
* Relationship building skills to develop and strengthen key relationships with plan sponsors and external consultants while remaining focused on the customer experience.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations as well as experience in supervising teams of licensed professionals.
* Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that will result in revenue growth while ensuring team is adhering to the highest level of ethical standards and compliance protocols.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
* Extensive knowledge of retirement plans with knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations.
* Experience and knowledge of the regulatory obligations relating to registered individuals including FINRA, state, and federal regulations/rules.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, negotiate and manage projects, processes and people with an executive presence.
* Prior success leading teams of managers/advisors in a defined territory.
* Effective communication abilities with clients, financial professionals, senior management, regulators, and other types of stakeholders, including virtual and in-person communications.
* Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving organization.
* Series 7, 24, 66, 51 and Life and Health licenses.
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
* Ability to travel throughout the region as required.
