During COVID-19 Pandemic this position may require the ability to temporarily work remote within the company service territory until company protocol dictates return to the office criteria has been met.

Once authorized to work on site, the work location is 9580 Hwy 85, Henderson, CO 80640.

Only local candidates will be consdiered for this internship. You must live within a commutable distance from Henderson, CO 80640.

Summary

Position assists, as necessary, experienced supply chain staff with program and project management, routine analysis & reporting, processing purchase orders, inventory management, supplier management, contract development, travel program management, credit card and expense reconciliation program management and process improvements. Creates reports and analysis using Microsoft Office and Business Objects. Compile and develop Supply Chain data and sample statistics into meaningful reports. Candidate may also learn Supply Chain specific software SAP. SumTotal, US Bank Access Online & Voyager, Ibank. This position will expose the candidate to all areas of supply chain including sourcing, purchasing, materials management, contracting, travel and expense management, customer/supplier relationships and logistics.

This is a long-term, paid position for up to 20 hours per week during academic periods and up to 40 hours per week during non-academic periods including summer and school breaks. Hours during academic periods can be flexible based on class schedule. This is a year-round, long term internship with intent to explore job opportunities after graduation (based on mutual interest and availability).

Minimum Requirements

* Pursuing a masters or 4-year undergraduate degree from an accredited university
* Junior or Senior level preferred
* Major or minor in Supply Chain, Business Management
* Good organization, communication and problem solving skills
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
* Must be approachable, flexible, customer focused, self-motivated, results and team oriented
* Learns new tasks and develops skills quickly

Preferred Requirements

* Ability to stay on part-time during the school year if offered
* Junior level or above (as of Spring 2021) is preferred
