Responsibilities
As a Lead Data Analyst, youll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within our enterprise. You will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. This role will enable you to build skills that impact the bottom line through a data-driven approach to problem-solving. You will perform as a data pioneer to drive recommendations and implement solutions. You will do this by collaborating with colleagues across business, product, and engineering in an environment that invests in talent development. You will learn our business and take an active role in determining our objectives and how best to measure them.
* Use data mining techniques to identify business opportunities
* Use modeling and analytics to understand how business decisions impact our bottom line.
* Seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources and platforms to generate customer insight
* Explore new data sources to enhance models and build solutions that empower analytics
* Harness cloud-based tools and platforms to explore structured and unstructured data -
Utilize programming languages like Shell, JavaScript, Python and Cloud based data warehousing services such as Snowflake
* Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust solutions that drive powerful experiences that delight our customers
* Perform unit tests and conducting reviews with other team members to make sure code is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for performance
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree
* 7+ years of experience in structured SQL and data warehouses
* 4+ years of experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, JavaScript, Shell)
* 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
* 3+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra)
* 7+ years of data visualization and business intelligence experience
* Experience leading teams or mentoring peers
