The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Regarded across the enterprise as an expert in multiple identified areas of expertise, with responsibility for developing standards and enterprise-wide best practices and for engineering complex, largescale technology solutions to address highly complex and cross-organizational issues. Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices. Maintain broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborate with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for Wells Fargo. Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions. Expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommend innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Provide expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advise and mentor others with the goal of knowledge transfer. Will represent Wells Fargo to external industry groups, influencing industry standards. Expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. This position can be based at the Wells Fargo site location in Charlotte, NC.

Required Qualifications
* 7+ years of software engineering experience
* 7+ years of information technology experience
* 5+ years of J2EE experience or 5+ years of .net experience
* 7+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
* 2 + years of experience with cloud based tools: Azure, PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry ) or a combination of both
* 1+ year of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra
* 1 + years of experience with business rules management systems such as: Ilog, Jrules, Blaze, or Drools
* 1 + years of experience with Elasticsearch development, integration or support
* 3 + years of Java Web Services experience
* 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
* 2+ years of DevOps experience

Desired Qualifications
* An industry-standard technology certification
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* 5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
* 3+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
* 3+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
* 1+ year of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)

Other Desired Qualifications
* 5+ years web application development experience
* 5+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience
* Experience building Microservices
