Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.
Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF), a division of Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, is one of the top lead arrangers of asset-based loans in the United States with a large and diversified portfolio exceeding 3,300 customers and more than $34 billion in loans outstanding. WFCF offers traditional asset-based financing, specialized senior secured financing, accounts receivable financing, purchase order financing, and supply chain financing to a wide range of companies throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
The Relationship Manager position within the Corporate Asset Based Lending (Corporate ABL) group is focused on larger corporate clients. Clients include public companies, private equity backed portfolio companies, and larger entrepreneur owned businesses with typical Revenue and EBITDA in excess of $1Bn and $100MM, respectively. Primary responsibilities include: credit and administration of a portfolio of ABL loans to corporate clients; analyzing collateral and financial performance of borrowers; reviewing and interpreting credit loan documents, working closely with Corporate and Investment Banking, Middle Market Regional Banking, Leverage Finance, Financial Sponsor coverage, and other Wells Fargo team members to build strong relationships, provide superior service and advice, enhance credit and other economic opportunities with customers within the existing portfolio base, and mitigate credit, regulatory, and financial crimes risk. The Relationship Manager 4 position will handle the more complex deals and provide guidance to junior level Relationship Managers.
In connection with these responsibilities, the Relationship Manager will regularly meet with portfolio clients (travel involved) and Wells Fargo partners; actively work with Portfolio and Regional Portfolio Managers and other Senior management in evaluating, structuring, and executing transactions within the portfolio through the preparation of credit modification memorandums that assess assets, leverage, key risk factors, repayment sources, cash flows, management, and risk ratings; perform industry, company, and collateral due diligence to assess credit risk; support underwriting functions for new client transactions entering portfolio; provide coaching and mentoring of Analysts; monitor and evaluate/maintain appropriate risk ratings; stay current on policy, procedure, and compliance guidelines and incorporate such guidance into various compliance related matters on a recurring basis; utilize Moodys MRA spreading tool for spreading/analyzing financial statements; complete periodic professional development training as scheduled;

Required Qualifications
* 6+ years of account relationship experience, credit management experience, or a combination of both

* Basic knowledge and understanding of middle market corporate finance

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

* A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics

Other Desired Qualifications
* Experience in reviewing and accurately interpreting loan documentation, collaborating with deal teams and underwriting credit facilities for middle market and large corporate borrowers.
* Strong knowledge of large corporate lending and working knowledge of ABL and Capital markets
* Effective Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
* Ability to lead and coordinate team members across Wells Fargo to close and structure transaction
