Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) is one of the United States leading providers of financial and investment services. The Investment Solutions Governance and Controls team is seeking talented, organized, experienced individuals to partner with business leaders to effectively progress, communicate, and execute initiatives, ensuring compliance with Enterprise and WIM policies and other initiatives.
There are three positions available.
These positions will be responsible for partnering with leaders within Investment Solutions and Control teams to identify, mitigate and control risk. They will coordinate and manage risk programs within Investment Solutions across all various exposures, in line with the enterprise risk management framework. They will be relied upon to develop and manage processes to comply with requirements on applicable internal policy and program requirements and local, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
* 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience
Other Desired Qualifications
* Experience or knowledge of investment products or investment processes
* Excellent technical, analytical and, communication skills.
* Intermediate Excel and Power Point skills
* Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic and results orientation
* Meaningful knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance
* Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and understanding of how they are implemented, managed and enforced
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and regulators, to include virtual, matrixed leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships within the business and enterprise Risk function
* Ethical integrity and demonstrated ability to assess and determine when to raise concerns and escalate
* Strong analytical ability used to identify risks and confidently raise issues, escalate early and engage in constructive credible challenge and will do so independently when necessary
* Proven ability to proactively manage and resolve conflict and effectively defend decisions with objective rationale
* Ability to develop and deliver executive level reporting
* Excellent use of applications including: Excel, Word, Power point, Visio and Microsoft Project.
* Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
* Knowledge, understanding, and experience with tracking deliverables and coordinating tasks and activities; managing issues and risks; driving to achievement of objectives
* Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems
* Experience with Money Movement processes
