Position Title: Manufacturing Technician II

What will you do?

00B7 Build and Functional Verification testing of automated control systems and sensors.

00B7 Assembling, cabling, programming controllers and debugging automated bio-reactor systems based on Emerson DeltaV platform

00B7 Assembling, modifying and debugging major subsystems

o Tru-Logic (Delta V)

o Modifying, debugging Control Towers

o SUB agitators, etc

00B7 Programming transmitters and controllers

00B7 Building cables, hoses etc. as needed

00B7 Building, testing and modifying Mass Flow Controller Manifolds

00B7 Upgrades and upgrade kits

00B7 Stage systems for integration and final test/QC

00B7 Support Integration and Factory Acceptance Testing as needed

00B7 Support Production Planning on Work Order requirements, parts issued etc.

00B7 Able to lift 25-30 lbs. unassisted

00B7 Job duties may include standing, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, lying down and elevated surfaces to access certain sections of the control systems.

00B7 Production floor environment.

MISC. FUNCTIONS:

00B7 Ability to redline/correct released drawings and documents

00B7 Additional assemblies and job related duties as required

00B7 System teardown and packaging for shipment

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

00B7 Education: High School Diploma, AS degree/relevant technical trade school training

00B7 Experience: 1 - 2 years in a similar system level testing environment

00B7 Certification/Licenses

00B7 Communication Skills: Must demonstrate verbal and written communication in English

00B7 Read and follow: work instructions, assembly blue prints, wiring diagrams, work order BOM and routing

00B7 Electrical assembly, test and debug to the major components in sub assy boxes (defective: OEM components, cables, PCBA2019s, etc.)

00B7 Mechanical Assembly from box build to system assembly levels

00B7 Programming OEM and internally designed electronic components (sensor transmitters, motor controller etc.)

00B7 Troubleshooting system to below sub system level at major component level using wiring diagrams, assembly blue prints etc.

00B7 Production planning. Must understand work orders, take ownership of parts kits once issued, follow production plans and stay aligned with production planners

00B7 Able to use PLM documentation systems to extract product documentation

00B7 Able to red-line BOM2019s and other product documentation for review and update by engineers.

00B7 MS Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

00B7 PC setup and navigation, keyboarding

BENEFICIAL/DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

00B7 Education: Advanced Technical Degree or related Military Training

00B7 Experience: Greater than 2 years in a similar system level testing environment
