Position Summary:
This position is responsible for leading the development of Adherence Measurement Solutions. This position will be responsible to facilitate the building of a portfolio of solutions that will meet ever changing trial needs with respect to patient adherence data. Once the portfolio of solutions is in place, this position will help drive growth by marketing and positioning these solutions to Clinical Trial Division (CTD) customers. This position must listen intently to market trends in adherence measurement, listen to customer feedback, and be aware of supplier solutions so that the solutions offered by CTD will position CTD as a market leader in adherence measurement while enabling us to drive growth by anticipating and meeting customer demand. This position will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Adherence Measurement solutions within CTD.
Key Responsibilities:
* To create and maintain an Adherence Measurement strategy for CTD and to lead the building out of solutions in support of the strategy.
* Uses industry knowledge to enable CTD to establish strong partnerships with suppliers in the space.
* Works with the supply partners to understand the pros and cons of the technology.
* Facilitates the establishment of supply partner agreements and contracts, ensuring all elements of the technology are represented in the agreements.
* Builds a broad portfolio of supply partner options, including blister, bottle, and novel technology solutions so that CTD will be positioned as a market leader.
* Coordinates with CTD operations and the Adherence Measurement test lab (incubator) to ensure that the solutions can be produced in a repeatable and quality manner.
* Works with suppliers and operations to resolve any pending challenges in the test lab.
* Coordinates with academic institutions to ensure solutions are market ready.
* Acts as subject matter expert in support of Adherence Measurement, supporting our client base and business unit commercial team to grow the service offering.
* Works with marketing to build a compelling value proposition to drive growth in the segment.
* Adapts the Adherence Measurement offering to ensure CTD maintains a position as a market leader in the segment.
* Represents the business and/or speaking, at international conferences and scientific meetings.
* Assists in drafting business cases to ensure the program is well funded and the financial benefits of Adherence Measurement are tracked and well understood.

* Monitor budgets and financial risks in compliance with organization requirements.
* Optimize value for money and ensure that compliance with regulatory and financial policies is assured
* Identify potential client targets and develop relationships Globally to increase awareness of Adherence Measurement solutions and their benefits.
* Enable effective project handover to commercial operations once a solution has been fully tested.
* Travel to client sites or to FCS operations for face to face meetings
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
* A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in innovative packaging technology; preferably in Adherence Measurement.
* University science degree essential with MBA preferred
* Strong understanding of packaging processes, emerging technologies, and the benefits of smart packaging in clinical trials.
* Experience with pharmaceutical customers with clinical trial experience preferred
* Basic understanding of GMP quality standards
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to a wide range of internal and external audiences. Ability to understand clients2019 requirements and to be able to devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Proven track record of successfully developing and championing customer focused solutions
* Significant knowledge of and experience in Adherence Measurement solutions
* Extensive and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Adherence Measurement market
* Proven track record of effectively managing budgets and ensuring the delivery of services within agreed resources
* Authority and credibility to work effectively in regulated market and establish positive and productive relationships with stakeholders
* Proven track record of operating strategically, with and the accountability for, and success in delivering client focused projects
* Proven leadership ability with evidence of developing a multi-disciplinary approach, managing staff, inspiring confidence, encouraging, motivating and influencing others
