Overview:

The Cloud Practice Builder - Project Manager exists to aid Tech Data's high-value had high-potential partners with business strategy and guidance as well as vendor specific competency building. This team members primary responsibility will be to project manage the delivery of partner enablement engagements across key market segments for the major SaaS/PaaS/IaaS vendors, such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM, etc. Team member will also provide consultations on various business, technical and vendor specific topics. You will work closely with a very experience and talented team of consultants and Subject Matter Experts at Tech Data. In this role, the representative is focused on helping the partner to utilize Tech Data value including but not limited to Services (Assessment, POC, Migration), Training/Education (Exit Certified, training seminars), Solutions (Click2Run offerings), and ResellerConnect (demand generation services), among others. Specifically, we use this role to co-develop and project manage vendor specific cloud paths focused on attaining vendor accreditation as well as the acceleration of existing supplier specific businesses at our partners. This approach drives incremental partner reach, growth, and generates higher margins for the partner and Tech Data.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

Project Manager: Partners with Tech Data Sales Teams, Solutions Teams, Vendor Teams and Services Teams to project manage progression of partners through Cloud Practice Builder enablement program. (25%)

Program Subject Matter Expert: SME for assigned Supplier Program (25%)

Consultant: Leverages the Practice Builder Processes to create strategic plans that align with the solutions, strategy, vision and goals for Tech Data's Cloud Technology Markets to accelerate growth for both our supplier and reseller partners (25%)

Advisor: Provides key insights and recommendations to improve Cloud Practice Builder Program. (15%)

Communicator: Creates reports that track activities and growth in regards to enablement engagements for assigned partners including Tier Advancement, Vendor Certifications and Credentials, Revenue, GP$ and GP% dashboards for respective partners. (10%)

Qualifications:

Experience:

5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree with Marketing, Business Mgmt., Engineering, IT Management field of study preferred.

Other Education / Certifications: Vendor specific competency a strong plus

Working Conditions:

Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.

May be located either remotely or at a Tech Data office.

Professional, office environment.

Some Travel Required (up to 25%) once we the pandemic is under control.
