What you will do

Coordinate and execute the creation of divisional communications around initiatives, business strategies, change management, and major organizational announcements, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, message creation, content development, copywriting, presenter preparation and measurement.

* Coordinate planning and implementation of communication plans and projects that support the Endoscopy divisions business communications strategy and business plans.
* Communicate urgent and business critical communications to various audiences across appropriate channels in a timely manner with attention to detail.
* Assist with the execution and tracking of the divisional content calendar, helping maintain timelines, secure and manage resources, and assist with distribution methods as necessary
* Generate content for communications, scripts, and other deliverables
* Align with communication standards to ensure consistent, look, feel and voice.
* Support internal communication strategies, including identification and selection of optimal media, channels, audience and tone.
* Support in the project management, drafting, editing and publishing of internal newsletters, broadcasts and executive communications.
* Manage distribution lists across various channels and report communication metrics on a regular basis.
* Collect and analyze feedback to provide recommendations for program enhancements or changes.
* Provide basic graphic design for presentations, internal and external communications, and other needs.
* Partner with Corporate Communications team to align Endoscopys communications with Corporate initiatives and enhance visibility of Endoscopys business priorities and projects across the Corporation.
* Support communication aspects of divisional change management initiatives including communication planning, message creation, content development, presenter preparation and measurement.
* Foster and maintain effective relationships with divisional leadership team to assure alignment with communication approach and tactics.
* Manage projects with outside agencies responsible for providing support for messaging, branding, and change management activities.
* Contribute to the development of creative and editorial review protocols & processes that reinforce branding standards in all published materials.
* Coordinate the production of Endoscopys Quarterly Global Broadcast meetings, as well as ad hoc necessary divisional business update broadcasts (i.e. major organizational changes, M&A activity, etc.)
* Support communications team in development of major announcements (product launches, press releases, and major public relations initiatives)
* Stay informed about the important corporate and customer events
* Represent, communicate and implement the Stryker design and brand management concept internally and externally; promote and defend the integrity of corporate design and brand standards
* Maintain a high degree of self-motivation, generate fresh ideas, keep current with internal and external design trends and foster positive team interaction
* Respond to routine inquiries for information
* Other duties as assigned

What you need

* Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related discipline required
* MBA preferred
* Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, including ability to tailor communication style to audience
* Excellent grammar, copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills
* Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and adapt quickly to change
* Strong attention to detail
* Expertise in marketing automation software (Marketo preferred) and working knowledge of Adobe suite of products
* Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and functions
* 3+ years communications or marketing experience or equivalent
* Strong typing skills.
* Excellent computer skills.
* Prefer Endoscopy division location (Dallas, TX; San Jose, CA; Denver, CO)
