Job Description

Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties to ensure that payroll is accurately processed including: Answering and researching inquiries Verifying accuracy of information received Data entry into Human Resources/Payroll Systems Balancing batch totals and auditing outcome of payroll processing Balancing W-2's Creating W-2C's Maintaining accurate and organized files Analyzing documents Confirming all signatures required are obtained prior to processing payments Processes disability payments and researches issues Prepares manual check documentation for processing and distribution Answers telephones Analyzing paperwork received from Courts, attorneys, federal and state agencies, etc. to determine plan of action needed Maintains logs/records Uses a variety of software programs to create reports and makes distribution Uses computerized databases

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: Normally requires an Associate's Degree with 3-5 years of experience.
