DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work for Asset and Wealth Management's (AWM) content delivery solutions (CDS) team as lead software engineer. Manage, develop applications and solutions for AWM. Design major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware, database and infrastructure. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture was aligned with business requirements. Clarification of requirements. Work closely with clients to implement successful solutions. Ensure high quality development work via standards, guidelines, quality assurance reviews and testing. Handle business user demands and requirements on time and within budget. Develop and architect applications on technologies like Java, JEE, Webservices, Messaging, Microservices, Spring, JavaScript, SQL, No-SQL, AngularJS, AWS, Dockers, Kubernates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Masters Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in Application Development, or related experience OR a bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus 7 years of experience in Application Development, or related experience.
Skills required: Experience with Java/J2EE Application Development. Experience with Asynchronous message processing using IBM MQ/JMS. Experience consuming large volumes of data using multi-threaded/parallel processing. Experience implementing Micro Service architecture for distributed applications. Experience deploying applications onto the Cloud platform. Experience with UI/Web application development using JavaScript, AngularJS, and ReactJS. Experience implementing SOA architecture using RESTFul/SOAP WebServices and Messaging. Experience performing Big data analytics using big data technology including MongoDB, HDFS or Cassendra. Experience in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Integrations. Experience with AWS, Dockers and Kubernates.
