Job Description
This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix (You can read more about the transaction in the press release - https://newsroom.intel.com/wpcontent/uploads/sites/11/2020/10/nand-memory-news-q-a.pdf). The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.
The Supply Chain Technical Analyst would be a member of the NAND Products Solutions Group (NPSG) Global Operations under the Planning team. This group is in Phase 1 and will transition to SK Hynix in mid/late 2021.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Supply Chain Technical Analysts are responsible for NPSG's Supply and Product Build Plans. Primarily, they manage products within the supply chain network that produces Solid State Drives for Intel.
The scope includes managing supply to meet customer demand; work closely with cross functional teams to develop build plan strategies and manage the execution through the factory network.
Applies mathematics, statistics, advanced analytics and optimization modeling to find patterns and relationships in data to help optimize inventory, material, and create supply strategies.
They form close partnerships with Business Operations, Manufacturing partners, Component and Material teams.
Perform supply-demand analysis and highlight gaps and recovery plans as necessary. Strong commitment to making and meeting customer requirements while balancing inventory, revenue targets and cost.
Work on process improvement projects to make planning more efficient and lean.

Qualifications
The candidate must possess a BS degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the following:
Supply Chain Planning such as inventory tracking, product planning, or other business operations related positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Requires in depth knowledge of supply chain management and a Degree in a specialized or intellectual field of study such as engineering, computer science or a related field.
Experience with project management, organization, analytical supply/demand analysis
Knowledge in Excel
Knowledge of SAP, Tableau and/or other Planning/MRP system
